Procurement Officer
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with restaurant managers and chefs to understand specific food and beverage procurement needs and preferences.
- Source, negotiate, and establish relationships with food and beverage suppliers, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of products.
- Work closely with the finance and inventory teams to maintain accurate records of procurement transactions in the ERPNext system.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Stay informed about food and beverage industry trends, market conditions, and supplier offerings to inform procurement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer in the food and beverage industry.
- Familiarity with ERPNext or similar ERP systems, with expertise in configuring systems for restaurant procurement needs.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in SQL reporting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of food and beverage procurement regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic restaurant environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
